At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, we believe that every child has a voice, every child can make a difference, and every child has the potential to become a wonderful leader.

Our Student Leadership Teams play an important role in shaping our school community, giving children opportunities to take on responsibilities, share their ideas, support others and make positive changes.

From our Head Boy and Head Girl to our GIFT Team, School Council, Care for Creation Team, Library Club and Playground Leaders, our children work together to make St Mary’s a happy, welcoming and inclusive place where everyone feels valued.

Rooted in our Catholic faith, our young leaders strive to follow in Jesus’ footsteps by showing kindness, compassion, respect and service to others. Through their roles, they develop confidence, independence, teamwork and a sense of responsibility, learning that even the smallest actions can make a big difference.

We are incredibly proud of our Student Leadership Teams and the wonderful example they set for others. At St Mary’s, pupil voice isn't just something we listen to – it's something we celebrate, encourage and act upon!
