EYFS have been learning about Hanukkah. Children used their senses to explore artefacts and objects from the faith and from the past, such as the Menorah and dreidel. We know Hanukkah is celebrated to remember a very special story in Jewish History. During this special time, delicious foods are eaten, family spend time together by playing games and gifts are shared. We shared a special treat together which is eaten during Hanukkah. They tasted delicious! The children also decorated a gift box with a gold coin inside, which they gave to someone special in their family.
